A new F1 formula

F1 is made out to be so much a driver's sport but it really is just a race between machines. You could be Hamilton or his sidekick Alonso, but if you are not driving a Ferrari or equivalent, you might as well be driving backwards. So, if the car you drive can put you either in the lap of victory or at least a lap behind everyone else, we should just let the cars race on their own. If the drivers still need to be in there to draw crowds and all that jazz, just have the drivers sit in a mock cockpit in the pit stops and drive the cars remotely. At least, they won't risk their lives. Suddenly, every kid brought up on a Playstation diet and baby formula can be the next F1 sensation!

As an aside, when do you predict F1 will hit Second Life?

Wait, who's really the waiter here?

Why are waiters called waiters? As far as I can tell, every time I've been to a restaurant, I've been the one who's had to wait: to be seated, handed out a menu, served food and then the bill!!
